CLUTCH Cowork

South Carolina has always been home to women making their mark—launching businesses, building side hustles, gathering wherever inspiration called. In 2018, the numbers reflected what many already felt: the state was one of the nation’s leading hotspots for women-owned businesses. Yet, for all the momentum, the Capital City lacked an abundance of spaces made by, with, and for women—a place not just to work, but to connect, nurture ideas, and make room for every woman’s journey.

With Women’s Entrepreneurship Day on the horizon, we listened to what the city needed and answered with CLUTCH Cowork: a two-day pop-up experience born from community, intention, and celebration. In collaboration with strategist and advocate Anita Garrett—whose gifts for linking people, organizations, and values helped lay the groundwork—CLUTCH promised more than desks and coffee. It offered a place where women could show up, work well, and work together.

Bankroll Summit

For Financial Literacy Month in April 2019, financial literacy nonprofit Know Money wanted to celebrate the month’s theme and the organization’s five-year history with its first major event.

Dreamseed developed the event concept, name, positioning, and visual branding; led event planning and production; and executed integrated marketing and communications. Spatial designer Quin Gwinn supported with event layout design, while the Know Money team facilitated sponsorship outreach and student recruitment.

In its inaugural  year, Bankroll Summit ultimately welcomed 118 students from six colleges (five of them HBCUs). One essay winner also received a $500 scholarship toward continuing their college education. Seven millennial money experts from around the country spoke on topics such as money mindset, debt elimination, college entrepreneurship, and practical strategies to attend college for free.
